Uvous Child Safety & Protection Standards

Last updated: December 8, 2025

Umove is committed to protecting all users and maintaining a safe community. Although Umove is designed for adults only (18+), we maintain clear standards to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and to comply with applicable child safety laws and platform policies.

1. Age restrictions

  • Umove is strictly intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
  • We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or use the Umove app.
  • If we become aware that a minor is using the app, we will take appropriate steps, which may include restricting or closing the account.

2. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Umove has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of child sexual abuse material or exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Images, videos, drawings or other media depicting or simulating minors in sexual or exploitative situations.
  • Messages that solicit, promote or exchange CSAM or exploitative content.
  • Any attempt to groom minors or encourage illegal sexual activity.

Content or behaviour of this nature will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant law enforcement and child protection authorities.

3. Reporting child safety concerns

Users can report suspected child sexual abuse material, exploitation or other serious safety concerns directly from within the app using the in-app report tools, or by contacting our safety team by email.

If you see content or behaviour that you believe involves a minor being harmed, exploited or placed at risk, please report it to us immediately. We review urgent reports as a priority.

You can contact our safety team at: umovetec@gmail.com.

4. Content moderation and enforcement

To help keep Umove safe, we use a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce our community guidelines and child safety standards. Depending on the severity of a violation, actions may include:

  • Removing reported content.
  • Restricting specific features or visibility.
  • Temporarily suspending or permanently banning accounts.
  • Preserving and disclosing relevant data to authorities where legally required.

We may retain certain information for a limited period where needed to investigate abuse, respond to legal requests, or prevent repeat offences.

5. Cooperation with law enforcement and authorities

Umove complies with applicable child protection, reporting and content laws in the regions where we operate. When we have a legal obligation or good-faith belief that a user is involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may:

  • Report suspected CSAM or exploitation to appropriate regional or national authorities.
  • Respond to lawful requests, court orders or investigations.
  • Provide relevant account and usage information in line with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.
